    A fruit fly trap perhaps?

I put a pie pan of water under a nightlight on the counter at night, and the gnats are drawn to the light and fall into the water and drown. Another thing I do and if fun and very effective is use an electric fly swatter, hold the button down continuously and swing it thru the flying gnats. POP!

Put Apple Cider vinegar in a small dish, jar lid, etc. then a few drops of Dawn dish soap. The gnats and fruit flies are attracted to the vinegar, the Dawn sticks to their feet so they can't fly away.Make sure you wipe up fruit juices, veggie peels, anything they are attracted to in your home to help with the elimination process.Oh,if this mixture starts getting full of gnats, pour it out and start new.Set this anywhere you see the gnats hanging around.More than one location helps too.

    Hope this helps.

I had a terrible gnat problem and the vinegar traps worked perfectly! Simply place a few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar or white vinegar, a few drops of dish soap, and a tablespoon of sugar in a bowl and stir. Set your bowl in an area where gnats are prevalent, such as your kitchen or bathroom. This took care of my problem in just a couple of days!
