How can I get ceramic tile clean?

I know you can't tell from the picture, but there's an area of the floor that no matter what I try it still looks hazy :( Love my floor, but to be honest, it's a pain to keep clean. The rest of the floor is like a mirror; ) but for this area. Lol

If you mean the grout, Oxy Clean powder can be made into a paste and used as a cleaner. Instructions are on the package, I think, or can be found on the internet.

Thanks Ellis, but it's not the grout, it's the ceramic tile, around the grout, but on tile :) Don't want to try abrasive stuff, afraid it'll scratch tile

Oh, I see now. I think you might still be able to use the OxyClean, if you make it kind of liquid, but I would try a tiny little test area in a not-visible spot first. I guess you tried regular cleaners like Fantastic, 401, Spic N Span, etc.?

My only other thought would be to show this to a good tile store, and ask them if they have a product you can use.

Tere, have you tried a mixture of Vinegar, Baking Soda with a small amount of the regular blue Dawn? I have a hand tied Middle Eastern large rug and it worked beautifully with out any damages, I used it on my back splash, (a gift of 16 pc.) hand painted porcelain and it took the yellowing off and left them looking like the day I received them! I mixed about half a cup of regular white distilled vinegar to 2 Tablespoons ( maybe 3) blue Dawn and lastly added the everyday baking soda until I got a medium thickness paste painted the mixture on to completely cover the tile, let it sit undisturbed for about 20 minutes, took a clean wet hand towel, with some mild rubbing rinsed and wiped off.

I lived in El Paso off & on 30 years, parents retired in N.E. off railroad before Dal - Tile area. My husband & I were married at Center Chapel, Ft. Bliss 1968. The last time we lived there was '90's & lived on the East side, off of Album Ave. & Ruewood, a block from Eastwood Middle. Left in 2003 for Oklahoma were we had a small ranch. My husband passed and I relocated to Ohio in 2011. Two of 5 my granddaughters still call E.P. home base - They're grown now. - Small world God Bless & good luck!

This was really helpful when I used it for my tiles. It worked really fast and I was able to get most of the haze off when I cleaned the first time. It's really easy and great.

You can try it out to see if it works for you as well. Good luck.
