Place a cloth over the stain. An iron set to medium and iron over the cloth. May take a few passes.

    Hi Dian, if it's wood

Get those white marks—caused by hot cups or sweating glasses—off your coffee table or other wooden furniture by making a paste of 1 tablespoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon water. Gently rub the spot in a circular motion until it disappears. Remember not to use too much water to remove water stains from wood.

    1. You can also try Rub the area with an oily furniture polish, mayonnaise, or petroleum jelly. ...
    2. Put a little toothpaste on a wet cloth and rub the stain gently until the spot disappears.

Hi Dian. I'm Cindy. Make a paste with olive oil and salt. Apply this paste on the water stain and walk away. Let it set for an hour. Then come back and wipe it all up with a clean cloth. The salt will pull out the moisture and the olive oil will condition the wood. Good luck Dian.
