Hey Maya! I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, but given the information, I would list the current table that you have on facebook marketplace, craigslist, etc and sell it. (of course, always be careful when selling things online) Then you can purchase a new square table for your kitchen.

Maya: have sold my furniture at consignment stores. (They will even pick up for a small fee.) Use the funds for another table -- or maybe even find one there!

Teak is very expensive will be hard to replace;but there isn't anything that cannot be done. online insight--"The design of your dining room suite sounds such that if you change anything about it, you will ruin the integrity of the entire set. Your only choice is either slice a section from the middle or shave a circular section from the outside. Either one has to done by a professional who really knows what he he doing, and will probably be as costly as buying a new suite. Are you at all the handyman? Can you reset the french doors to open outward instead of in? Can you redesign or even eliminate your breakfast bar?. As beautiful as your dining suite sounds, it might be better to store it, (in case you eventually move to a larger home), and purchase a smaller one".you can do it but maybe want to take to cabinet maker and have them cut it. online insight--"find a GOOD furniture or cabinet maker. They are more detailed and artistacly inclined to do fine woodwork. A regular carpenter is usally but not always better at rough work. A quality wood craftsman is an artist in his or her own right and will take care and pride with your table plus they have the specalized tools. Furniture makers and cabinet makers are a breed of there own". here's video of one guy doing it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2LwgCDu244 here's another site https://www.joyinthehome.com/how-to-make-square-table-repurposing-rectangle-table/ more info.Width or Length

Measure the table in the dimension you want to shrink it. Subtract the length or width you want from the overall measurement. Use the tape measure to mark the center of the table at both edges on either the long or short sides, depending on which side you want to make smaller. Stretch a chalk line between the marks and snap a line.2

Divide the difference between the existing dimension of the table and the dimension you want the table to be in two. Measure off of the chalk line in each direction and mark a line parallel to the chalk line on each side at half of the difference between the two measurements. Stick a strip of masking tape along each line and draw the line again on top of it.3

Fit your circular saw with a fine-toothed blade and cut along the two lines to remove the center from the table. This will leave you with two identical pieces. Sand the edges smooth using a power sander, or rotary tool fitted with a sanding attachment.4

Fit the two halves of the table together with the table on its top. Cut and position three 6-inch wide strips of 3/4-inch thick plywood bridging the cut. Place one in the center, and one at each end. Pull the halves of the table snug together with bar clamps. Drive screws through the plywood into the bottom of the table top every four inches to fasten them together.Things You Will Need
