HOW DO YOU REMOVE SEALENT from TILE IT'S BEEN ON FOR 8 YEARS

    I used a stem mop on my floor i left it on one spot too l long accidentally! And it came off so did it all . Hiv

    Amonia,removes wax, try that.

    Both are good suggestions, if you use ammonia be sure to have good ventilation.

    There is no easy way. If it's really dark, dingy and dirty, try Lestoil straight out of the jug, use a stainless steel or brass wire brush. The small ones like a tooth brush. Do a small area, maybe 4ft by 4ft, then wash well,several times, with just plain hot water.

    Lestoil is awesome, if you have epoxy grout, don't let it sit more than 10 mins or so as the Lestoil will soften and dissolve the grout. If you have any places that the grout was never cleaned off the tile, then a few drops of L sitting on the grout you want removed works well. Give it 30 to 40 mins, then scrape with a plastic putty knife.
