Great idea! The shelves can be adjusted for the height of the pans. Drawers could hold lids. I use the dishwasher to store all my baking sheets and pans as well as storage containers for leftovers. So handy and convenient.

You can to reuse one for storage? I would very careful doing that. The doors are hard to open from the inside and kids can get trapped. I would remove the doors before using.

you could use a split curtain panel .hang from a tension rod at top or velco to top of fridge ...if totally not running you could install a door style panel using hinges screwed to the outside or the inside of the fridge , attached to the door panel and completely hide the front of fridge, use a cabinet magnet closer to keep closed...paint the door to match surroundings..use a light weight panel of plywood or composite wood...post pictures when finished

I removed my fitted under counter fridge, which had a kitchen cupboard door attached to it. The joiner made a shelf for me and it became my pan cupboard, after he rehung the door, without the fridge door obviously. I now have two high freestanding fridges on a different wall.

Without knowing your kitchen it is hard to suggest other ideas which are variations on the theme.
