This product is a grease based formula and I have never heard of using it inside a very slippery surface where you shower...it could be dangerous if you get inside and start using soap where you could slip and fall...there are plenty of other good products out there that are made expressly for shower and bathtub cleaning...

Agree with Jan. Why would you want to use WD40?

You may have heard of this to keep soap scum off the walls of your shower. We do this on vehicles we plan to take off-road so they are easier to wash once we get home. First you have to clean the walls very well. When the walls are clean and dry, take a rag and spray some WD40 on it. Wipe down ONLY the walls with this treatment. This process will make the surface slick so that water will run off and not dry on it. The tub or shower floor must NOT be treated or the surface will be too slick to stand on.

don't think it's a good idea either; really slippery it will run off walls onto floor so it won't matter if you only treat walls
