How do I power wash clean the painted sides of my house?

I'm afraid I'll chip off paint but I can't think of any other way to make the walls clean again. Time and rain have taken their toll and I'd like to make it look like it looked after it was just painted.

If you have a Dollar Tree nearby, try a spray bottle of their TSP cleaner. Not sure that’s the exact name but it comes in a tall green spray bottle. Used it to clean siding dirtied by soot and rain and mildew. Worked well with minimal elbow grease. Suggest trying it on an area not too visible to test.

I have heard about a product "wet it and forget it" (or something like that). It is supposed to take care of mold and mildew, etc.

My power washer has a plastic tube that can suck up a deck cleaner and the low pressure setting/nozzle that can be used to clean a surface.

Best of luck. Just take it easy with the washer.

Instead of a power wash, use a strong garden hose spray. You really shouldn't need to power wash
