How do I repair a wooden floor with water damage?

Have a wood floor which has had some water sillage and blown a little. Don't want to replace the whole floor have a rug hiding worst part can I fill in gaps with a wood filler is there such a thing please.

Thank you so much Rebecca I have followed your link and think that will solve problem, have nothing to lose as to get the part up where the water ran on to in my hallway my flooring man said the whole lot would need to come up, which seemed unnecessary and wasteful, dont have a Walmart in England but we have plenty of good d.i.y shops so I'm sure I can find it, if not will look on Amazon. Thank you again.
Sand it down then use wood fill
Make sure you don’t have mold growing or wood rot (wood mold) and if you do, buy a mold-killing product, not chlorine bleach. Mold can kill people & I know this first hand.
After any mold is killed, it needs to be vacuumed out, thoroughly, before repairs are made.
