Hello Phyllis! I am not sure where you live but I do know that where I live the ground is frozen solid and there's no way to dig up anything! I would have to move a 4 foot tall snowbank to find the garden first! Tell us where you live, what kind of bulbs you want to dig up, and you will get some helpful tips on how to store each variety until spring!

I am so glad I don't live where you do. I'm in Cincinnati. I would appreciate any advice you can offer.

If the ground is frozen solid, I’m sorry this is going to be miserable.

Once dug up, I’d put them in gallon sized baggies with the dirt around them and store them in the refrigerator drawer, sealed.

Normally landscaping is considered part of the house sale unless specified in contract. However, if you can dig into the ground, then dig then up and place in a container with wood chips. You can get the chips wherever pet supplies are sold (bedding for hamsters). Other wise leave them for the new owners to enjoy.
