How to get rid of weeds?

My home remedies are: boiling water or Epsom salt followed by boiling water or white vinegar. There are hundreds, if not thousands of weed killing recipes out there, these are what work best for me.

Where?

1 gallon lemon juice 1gallon vinegar 2 cups salt mix really well spray plant liberally in hot sun ; boiling this and putting on plants while hot works even better - but you'd need metal sprayer or you can use cup and pour it on each plant you want to kill if you are trying to kill anyweeds that have a woody stalk(poison ivy etc) you need to use Round-Up it is safe as long as nothing gets in it when it's wet. add food coloring to it so you can see where you have sprayed it.

It's difficult to completely get rid of weeds because nature passes them through the air and the birds follow as well. There are things you can do though that help deplete weeds naturally if that might interest you?
