How to redo a bare cement bathroom floor without spending much money?
We live in a basement house with rough cement flooring and we had to remove vinyl floor due to water damage and can't really afford another flooring and was wondering if there was a simple solution until we can get the plank vinyl flooring we love.

Look into snap together rubber flooring. Sometimes they sell them for pre-schools or wet basements, but they Do sit up about 1/4 in. Off the cement and because they have holes in them, they vent the moisture.
How about throw rugs until you can do what you want
If you have a reuse/recycling/household hazardous waste center, check with them- our local one "gives away" paint (etc) that can be used (instead of returning to manufacturers for disposal). There might be cement paint available. Paint the worst rooms/spaces. Check out discount hardware stores for remnants (I got a lovely 6'x 10' piece for $20 for my laundry area), Walmart has interesting options, Target's clearance spots, Goodwill, etc... I've found great rugs in these places that will look great when I can afford my wood floors...
Hi Brenda. I'm Cindy. We bought our current house almost three years ago. The bathroom floor was UGLY. No money since we just bought the house. We decided to put down peel-and-stick tiles until we could do better. We got them for 79 cents each. I think we did the whole floor for about $40. Since then we have made what home improvements we could afford. Those peel-and-stick tiles are still there. And they look great.
