If you mean gnats..it is simple. They thrive on water...mostly damp soil. Let your house plants dry out before watering...dry out sinks and tubs. Don't leave damp towels or wet clothes laying around.

Thank you. I believe gnats are the issue. These little suckers are around my computer, which is in the porch- that have all my outdoor plants and others.

around house plants? fungus gnats Mix one part 3% hydrogen peroxide with four parts water. Allow the top layer of your soil to dry, and then water your plants with this solution as you normally would. The soil will fizz for a few minutes after application; this is normal. The fungus gnat larvae will die on contact with the hydrogen peroxide. #1 killer of house plants is over watering fungus gnats thrive on moist wet organic soil the larve live in the soil eating & killing the roots & then plant. let the plant dry completely top to bottom only then rewater it. if they are around kitchen area fruit sweets alcohol sugar they are fruit flies don't leave anything they eat out and put some alcohol/red wine in cup on counter they'll go for it and die

We have tiny flying things that come in through the screens when it rains. I put a pie tin on the table with about 1/2" of water. I place a small bow in the center with a votive candle in the bowl. I light the candle when I go to bed and when I get up in the morning I find all kinds of flying things dead in the water.

Thank you for your suggestion. The part that scares me is leaving a candle on overnight.

Nevertheless, thank you for your suggestion.
