Shower doors covered in lime scale even though cleaned weekly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

CLR cleaner or Lime Away and mechanical removal.

Lots of ventilation, rubber gloves & nylon scrub pad (and a single edge razor blade).

Chemicals alone won’t take it off, it has to be loosened up.

Personally, I’m light handed with a razor blade at a flat angle and suggest you try it.

Invest in a whole house water filter, your health is worth it.

Hi Ginni. I'm Cindy. We had a big problem with hard water at our last house. The only thing that cleaned the shower doors was a product called CLR. I think it might help you too. Spray it on the doors and walk away. Come back in a half hour and wipe down with a clean damp cloth. The result is amazing. Good luck Ginni.

CLR full strength; cleaning doesn't affect the water spots it's how hard your water is & the spots sitting on door then drying ; wipe door & walls with towel before it dries when you get done in shower or invest in squeegee so it doesn't get built up

Use whatever cleaning product you would like to wash away he like scale. Then take some Rain-X glass cleaner and spray the glass, let the Rain-X react for a minute or two before using either a squeegee or a paper towel to wipe the cleaner off.

AFter you get them clean go to the auto parts store and ask for a glass product to help the water sheet instead of cling so that it doesn't happen again.

I have had great results from Scrubbing Bubbles Mega Shower Foamer with ultra cling. Spray on Let sit a few min and wash off. May take a couple of times if lime is heavy
