Is it in the hallway? Bathroom? Are you wanting to move to another room? Are you wanting to make it less noticeable?

You can change the color to make them pretty or cover with contact paper. Then decorate the area with Dollar Tree baskets, signs, cute sayings. It all depends on what you have to work with and what your final desired product will be.

Could you included a picture so we could see what you have to work with, the size and shape of the laundry room, etc.?

Hi Leslie! If space is a serious issue and you ever need to replace your washer / dryer you could consider replacing them with a combo unit that does both. Its very popular in Europe but places like Home Depo etc do sell them. We've had ours for years and absolutely love it - one machine for literally the price of two!

We have a TINY laundry room but we built in shelves to fit the space and hung reposed cabinets and had just enough space beside our until for a little pull out rolling shelf that I kinda of love. Here's the post about it.
