How do I remove residue from plates?

I have glass cranberry dinner plates. When they come out of the dishwasher they have streaks & blotches on them. I don't use the dry cycle on my dishwasher. I wonder if that would help. I also tried hand washing them with vinegar & that doesn't help. They are smooth glass not textured. I'm about ready to give them the heave ho. Peggy

Are you using Finish? I tried different cleaning levels of Finish and my CLEAN dishes came out like that! Happened even after I cleaned the dishwasher. I wrote to the Finish manufacturer but never heard back.

I switched to Cascade in the higher cleaning level and now they are fine!

I agree, Finish is bad news. I am glad to know I wasn't the only one who felt that way. I am using Cascade pods. Thank you.

I had the same problem for years. Just last month I bought Wallmark brand pods and now my glasses and dishes are crystal clear, I can't believe it! I tried many brands and walmart brand works for me! Go figure...

I also would pour about 1/4 of clorox into the inside on the inside floor and wash my dishes this way with the cascade pods and the dishes came out sparkling. Now with walmart brand i do not have to do this any longer

Amazing! I will give that a try too. Thank you.

Powerizer is a cleaner that is good for anything. Dishwasher, floors you name it. It's a little expensive but really works. It even cleaned a mop to original clean in the washing machine. Find it on Amazon. Never had dishes so clean as when I used it in the dishwasher.
