How does one paint a concrete statue?

I have a small boy staute reading a book that needs painting. How do I go about doing that? I bought a little girl reading a book to go along the little boy which has no paint at all? How do I go about painting her?

    Clean the statue well then paint it with paint made for garage (cement) floors.

    A.J. I used spray paint...worked well but have also painted with a brush.

    Try one of the spray paints that have a texture. Make sure you scrub with a plastic brush with vinegar and dish soap to kill mildew and remove all dirt. Spraying it would be easy and some of the pebble textures would look really nice. Carried most anywhere paint is sold.
