Does this color vanity work with existing tile?

I want to put a new vanity and paint the walls of my bathroom which is quite small. The shower and floor tile is the same and in good condition so I don't want to replace it. I need a fairly particular vanity design and size and found one for cheap at Home Depot but it is in this color. Does this color work with the existing tile? And what color can I paint the walls to tie it all together? I detest the current orange.

If I am understanding correctly, you are saying that the Behr color you have there is the same color as your vanity? If so, it would look GREAT with your tile. I love it. As for a wall color, you could do anything in the greigey color scheme. I love grey blues or grey greens. A couple of my favorite colors I used in my house ( and we have tile very similar to that tile) is Sherwin Williams 'Ancient Marble' and Sherwin Williams 'Rare Grey'. Both are really beautiful. Ancient marble is a light green with grey undertones....and the Rare grey is a light slate blue with grey undertones. Both work well with our creamy tile like you have there. Try to get a few paint chips of the same color and put them underneath the charcoal paint chip to cover up the orange so you can see what you like best. Or better yet, you might be able to get a sample. Good luck!

I think the color is too dark. My personal choice would be white or cream.

Hi ! If your bathroom is small , I would keep the wall color light , especially if the vanity top is dark , btw , the color goes find with your neutral files. . If you like color , maybe do a focus wall a color of even a removable wallpaper , then pick up some color in the bath mat , towels , shower curtain , or decorative items .

Keep in mind that a solid dark color of vanity (or floor) will show every little speck of powder, dust, thread, lint, or hair. If you don't want to constantly be wiping it clean, go with a light color instead.

Mindful gray and repose gray from sherwin williams would look great with that tile. Benjamin Moore revere pewter would look fantastic on the vanity or the walls. I think you need to get some color into the room with towels, etc

I have that dark color vanity with blue gray walls, and tile is very similar.

Actually blue gray color called Breezy by Sherwin Williams would look nice. Use a creamy color for towels, shower curtains etc...

I love the dark color. I have a dark charcoal vanity with my beige floor and painted my walls with Sherwin Williams 'Sea Salt' which is a soft ocean blue green. It looks wonderful. If you use a shower curtain, pick one that you love and then choose your wall color. Go with a soft color that co-ordinates with your curtain. It does not have to match the colors in your curtain. Use towels, candles, and your shower curtain for your pop of color. You are not limited to gray and beige for your walls. Think about what color you feel good being enveloped in. Here is a look at Sea Salt: https://www.sherwin-williams.com/homeowners/color/find-and-explore-colors/paint-colors-by-family/SW6204-sea-salt#/6204/?s=coordinatingColors&p=PS0

I believe I have the same color floor tile but my shower tile is an earth tone called Noce. The paint color I had my baths painted is called Persian Fable ( a med tan

color). I also had my laundry and kitchen painted the same color and the wood trim really pops. Persian fable coordinates well w/Giallo Ornamental granite counter tops. However, you might like to get several samples of neutral color from

your local paint store and tape those up along w/your other choices. I would like to see a finished picture. Best of luck!

I would use a beautiful creamy off white and then add accent colors in your shower curtain, towels, artwork, etc.

I love contrast, so I would go with a light wall - Marshmello by Sherwin Williams, dark vanity, beige surrounding tile - Beautiful! If you need a shower curtain, I think light color. A piece of a decent size artwork, and then pick an accent color from the artwork and use for your towels... perfect. Would love to see the final design :-)
