I would sand out the rust, paint it, and keep it handy for pre-soaking, mopping, and just being cool. If you have counter space, you could cut a circle and inset it (braced).
Hi Wendy! I have one of these and just love it! Here are some ideas! I have mine hung on the wall! I have used it in the past in the laundry room for different things such as soap, keeping items found in the wash in it, old clothespins, and even plants.
Oh this is so cool! How 'bout just putting some old wooden clothes pins in it? Or, maybe a bunch of dryer balls, or even drill a hole in the center, and make a hanging light pendant? That would be super cool. You could even just hang it on a wall....you know....next to the washboard !! ;-)
Oh, Wendy, you must! Screw the pan to a wall or shelf near the vanity. Place a bar of homemade soap and a straight razor in the pan. If you can get a razor sharpener or strop (straps) , hang those and an old face towel sprayed with original Old Spice. If you don’t want to go all the way with a rustic washroom, you could glue a round mirror to the bottom of the inside of the pan and hang it like a picture. Please post your result on Hometalk!
Oh the creative juices are aflowing.....must be the full moon!! Gotta see what you decide...please! Hey, just had another thought.....make a clock out of it? Naw, just keeping it simple is best in this case. Enjoy !! Love Jewell's ideas too.....nice.
