What about foam "bumpers" on the sides. Not sure without taking a close look at which part is scraping but I'm thinking it's the wheels. Wonder if you can make something like a hard foam hubcap.
HHMMM.... that's a tough one; small piece of high density foam glued on side of wheels, front wheels you'd need to both sides ? not sure
