What is the best way to paint wire shelving for bedroom closet?

I have the boring white wire halving in my bedroom closet. It is a walk in closet but is really small. I want to paint them black just for something different. Was wondering if spray paint or acrylic paint brushed on would be better. Thoughts?

Well that is a little tricky. Some of the shelving is actually rubber coated. If not, I would either spray or ROLL not brush the paint of choice. I've had excellent longevity from full acrylic DTM paints (direct to metal). The regular rattle can paint would probably work just fine, but it has an insanely long drying time. For a shelf where you want to lay clothes, I would not put them in until it has fully cured which will probably take a couple of days.

I go for fast and easy. I would choose spray paint for sure.

Me too. Spray paint. If the closet is really small, you might want to rethink your colors, even on the walls so you end up with something brighter and may reflect light. Whatever, it will be beautiful and not boring anymore.
