Where do you live Esther? I purchased mine from a local sewing machine store.

You can buy them at your local Walmart store and a portable cover on wheels with it (they work like a airplane luggage piece with rollers). Or you can order one from a place like Fingerhut and make monthly payments if money is a problem. If you have a Walmart charge card you could charge it with them too.

You could also put a free add in Craigslist under Items Wanted.

Maybe someone has a sewing machine they are not using, and just hasn't listed it for sale yet.
