Glenda depending on where you are the spring is the best after frost has

past and it safe to plant in your area. Just make sure there is lots of drainage. I planted one of mine in a low lying area and this year with all the rain I ended up with rot because it wasn’t enough drainage.

I had the biggest best crop ever as my third year and then got this fruit rot. So upsetting.

We planted ours in very early spring when frost is past, and put mulch around the base . We also put it inside the yard to prevent local deer from damaging it.
