You could use a spray on clear coat like this: https://amzn.to/2Ekq4Br or paint on a coat of polyurethane.
Hi ! To answer your question , I would need to know what your project is or at least what it's made of , to let you know how to keep it weather safe .
There are numerous manufacturers of poly spray. Matte finish, satin finish, gloss finish.
Do several light coats and make sure you get all spots. Water will find it's way into the tiniest crack. Walmart even carries spray paint.
Helmsman Spar urethane. Used on boats.
Totally agree. A poly spray will work great for this! :)
Look for something that is Exterior rated and high gloss - I prefer something that can be brushed on, but that's my preference.
You could use a glossy polycrylic!
