How do I care for potted topiary plants?

I potted 2 topiary plants last year and had them outside on my deck. When it got cold I brought them in. Leaves started turning brown and falling off. Should I have left them out in the cold winter? What can I do to bring them back to life ? Will new growth come in the spring?

    Hi there,

Did you water them - Where they in a heated place - are they Evergreen? Try taking them back outside when all frosts are past, then give them a boast of Rejuvenating Food boot. If that doesn't do the trick, then nothing will. Much better to leave outside and cover with fleece if not sure if hardy.........

    Hi Mary,

In your question an important bit of information is what plants are you growing, there are multiple plants that can be made into a topiary. The type of plant would give better insight on how to address your problem.
