An apple tree without fruit may not be getting enough sun or water. Poor fruit production can also be caused by over fertilizing.

Hi Dianna, I noticed you said apple tree instead of trees. Most apple varieties do not pollinate themselves or any flowers of the same apple variety; this requires planting at least two different apple tree varieties close to one another so that the bees can pollinate.

Having a second tree could help. Apple trees are cross-pollinated by bees. Having two will increase cross-pollination, which will then produce more fruit!
