How do I pick a color for my entry hall?
It is white now, with a white ceramic tile floor. I hate yellow and gold. Would like something soft. It is very open to the living room and bedroom hallway.

Lite teal blue is pretty or pale peach with lite blue trim looks dynamite.
Pale blue or pale green are great options.
Hi Gloria. What are your colors in your living room? I think you should paint the entry hall with a color that goes with them. It's best to bring a color from your living room over to your entry way. So that your eye doesn't stop and start when you scan the combination of the entire space. Good luck Gloria.
Best to go to a good paint store with a nice selection of paint chips and just see what colors you are drawn too - then bring those color swatches home and get a feel for which colors look best in the lighting.
You could do a gray tone, if you have a lot of white throughout your home. You could also do a bold color for a fun pop like a dark charcoal gray.
I agree that a gray paint would look very nice with the white tile. A soft blue or sage green would work well, too.
Thank you, I think I am going with gray. It will go nicely with the Jade carpet. I appreciate your answer.
