How do I repair a small hole on the front of a T-shirt?
I’ve sewed them in the past, but it’s very notable on the front/center of the shirt.

I get tiny holes from the cat's claws, and if it's a good shirt, and before it has a chance to enlarge, I've used iron-on-patch in that color if I can find it. I cut a small piece, being careful to make the corners rounded because squared corners will lift up easier. It helps to keep the hole from expanding, but it's not a perfect solution.
If you darn it instead of just sewing up a hole it can be vertically invisible. However, the thread has to be as close as you can get to the color of the tee shirt.
Lois: you can always use an iron-on decorative patch! They have a good selection at Michaels and Hobby Lobby
Appliques work and can change look of shirt or add to design.
Hi Lois, hope this helps you out,
