How do I get rid of stones in an area I would like to put plants in?
The previous owners used stones to prevent weeds. I tried digging the area up but all I do is run in to stones. The stones are driving me crazy. Help

It is a lot of work! It takes a lot of labor and hauling. I've had to do it too! Now I prefer no landscape fabric, and only bark mulch so that nothing permanent is getting in the way.
Sorry, just got to keep plugging away at it. Some stones in the soil adds good drainage.
