Bona is the best cleaner for wood floors. Zep also makes a good cleaner, just do NOT use any Holland House product it will ruin your floors.

I love Murphy Oil. It leaves a great appearance and it has a delicious smell. Don't use it on laminate floors. Just wood. Good luck!

Carol, I clean professionally and this is what I use in multi-million dollar homes.

In a spray bottle mix equal parts water, alcohol and vinegar. Add 3 drops dishsoap and a few drops essential oils for fragrance. Using a flat microfiber mop that has been rinsed in clear water and wrung out tightly, begin by spraying the wood floor then mop over it. Rinse and wring frequently. The first section of floor should be dry before you reach the last section of floor. If not, you are using too much water.
