How do I grow Lavender in New Mexico?
I have tried numerous times to grow Lavender with 0 success. What variety, planting, location, etc. is best since I live in the desert/southwest? (Albuquerque)

You need to find a lavendar plant that is geared for your growing zone. Google your city along with growing zone to find out. Once you know your zone, only purchase plants made for your locale along with the sun it will get. This will make your gardens successful!
Maybe try growing indoors in a windowsill. Outside might just be too hot
I planted a Mexican lavender in the front of my house here in Phoenix. Lots of morning sun. Has become so large for the area that we had to cut some of it away. More bees in the spring than you can imagine.
