How can I use unicorn spit as a light stain?
Hi, I have a very ornate hand carved table I bought to refinish. It’s stripped and sanded down from a dark stain. Can I use multiple blended colors as a light-medium colored stain? And can I high gloss with polyurethane to seal it?

Wish it was mine! really do think they are sunflowers-the curl at the end of the petals are the leaves-bet you have someone creative that you know that could help you figure out what is best
The more water you mix with unicorn spit the lighter the colour will be. And yes, oil based polyurethane is an excellent choice to seal unicorn spit. Tung oil will also work, but probably not as much protection as poly. Can't wait to see what you do with this stunning piece!! :)
