July is the time to plant your fall harvest of green beans. I have supplied an easy graphic for you on 10 Tips for Growing Green Beans that you can keep save and pin to ensure you are enjoying tender green beans throughout the season.
Most beans will come to maturity before the first nip of frost hits here in the Midwest, so get those beans in the ground.

Different bean types to try:

Tender French Filet Beans which are tender and stringless, slender and will be ready for picking 50-55 days for bush and 50-67 for pole.
Lima Beans which can stand the hot and humid heat of summer. They become mature 75 days for bush and 85 for the pole.
Yard-long beans or also known as Asparagus beans are long and slender pods that can be 12-18 inches long when harvested. These beans come a variety of colors; green, burgundy or a beautiful streaked. The become mature in 80 days.
