Create a lovely planter box centerpiece for your home or wedding decor with artificial succulents and silk flowers!

For this DIY, you’ll need a planter box, either  rectangular or  square depending on the design you prefer, silk flowers, artificial greenery and faux succulents as well as heavy-duty wire cutters. To start, make sure to measure the inside of your planter box so you know what size styrofoam you’ll need.

Place the styrofoam block inside the planter box.

Choose your favorite succulents. Here, you’ll want to alternate by mixing wider bigger flowers with smaller succulent clusters. There are so many designs available! We used 3 pcs 12" tall Assorted Artificial Faux Succulent Picks Sprays Stems and 3 pcs 6" Assorted Green Artificial Succulent Echeveria Rosettes Picks Stems for our look as well as silk flowers. To start, place the bigger succulent picks inside the styrofoam and then the bigger silk peony flowers. This will let you know how much space you still need to fill. We’re using an asymmetrical composition but feel free to get creative here!

Accent the bigger faux florals with smaller silk flowers and succulents. For the finishing touch, add a few sprigs of artificial eucalyptus greenery. This will really pull the whole arrangement together and give it that natural look!

Be sure to watch the video tutorial for more details, and one more smaller centerpiece! You can really get expressive with planter boxes and artificial succulents, and we hope this DIY inspires your next creative project!
