Make this adorable Happy Easter Bunny sign with just a few easy to follow steps and brighten up your space for Spring.

I am so ready for Spring to arrive that it is time to add some colour and cheery to my home! Here are all of the directions you will need to make this adorable bunny sign that will bring a smile to your face every time you see him :)

Start with a piece of wood that is approximately 12" wide by 15" high. I started with a piece of pine and stained it a nice chocolate brown using Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint in Curio.

Download the bunny pattern that you can find here and rub a piece of chalk all over the back of the pattern.

Once the back is chalked up, turn it over and with it placed where you want it on your wood, trace around the bunny with a pencil. While you trace the pattern, the chalk will leave a nice outline on your wood that you can use to paint around.

Using a nice white paint (I used Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint in Ironstone) paint around the outside of your bunny pattern leaving the bunny the colour of the wood.

Adding lettering to your sign is as easy as adding the bunny!

Again, you can find the complete pattern for this sign here...

Place the lettering where you want it on your sign and slip a piece of carbon or graphite paper under the letters. **Remember to place the black side down!** Trace over the letters the same way you did with your bunny and this time the graphite paper will leave a nice dark outline that you can then paint over.

Paint over the letter outlines in nice bright colours. I used Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint in Flow Blue, Lucketts Green, Mustard Seed Yellow and a mix of Tricycle and Ironstone for the pink.

To finish of you new Easter sign, add a few tufts of grass and a nice fluffy, puffy pom pom tail.

How adorable is that? This little guy certainly makes me smile and I hope he will for you too.
