Can I paint contact paper?
Does anyone know if you can paint on contact paper to make your own pattern/ designs? I have a roll of clear contact paper, and it’s not shiny finish that I wanted to paint on but didn’t want to waste my time if it was going to peel right off 😊

Contact paper is basically vinyl. Whether shiny or not I doubt paint will say on for long. What you can try is Sharpie markers .
Cool! Thanks for the advice 👍🏻
It can be, but may not be worth the trouble. Check this out:

Yes, don't waste your time.
I would not recommend it either.
If it's not shiny, it should work. But, I'd go to a paint store and ask a pro what kind of paint to use. Take the paper with you for them to look at.
