Remarkable Way to Insulate and Protect (Roxul)

House fires scare me. So when it came time to insulate our bathroom (during a remodel) I chose Roxul. You see a lot of contractors using Roxul on HGTV. One reason is that it won't catch on fire and the second is that it has soundproofing qualities. This is totally a DIY project. And each bag costs about $47 (coverage is 59 square feet).
If you're in the midst of remodeling I totally recommend Roxul.
You can check out my video tutorial by clicking on the link.
I also added 2 additional videos showing fire tests with Roxul - pretty impressive stuff.
Butt Roxul to top of stud bay.
Make Roxul flush with studs or joists.
Roxul is made from stone wool, which gives it the fire resistance.
Slide Roxul around pipes.
You can but Roxul with a bread knife, yah it's that easy.
