How do you retouch bleached oak cabinets without refinishing entirely?

My most used cabinets are getting discolored by the door handles & won't come clean with normal polishing. Finish is dull & discolored.

If you're looking for a cleaning product you should try Krud Kutter. I bought it at Home Depot. I have cleaned my kitchen cabinets with it and it doesn't require scrubbing. If you buy the foam it stays right where you spray it.

That's what I thought. You be worn thru the picking stain. It is very difficult to touch up because your original finish has also yellowed. You can try to have some pickling stain tinted to the color it is now. Remove hardware, lightly sand after it is cleaned and feather it on. Add a coat or 2 of spray polyurethane to the touch up area lightly. If sheen is different, you may consider coating the entire door with the spray but only after you've sanded it with very fine steel wool.

Hi, try giving them a good cleaning with vinegar

Mix a 50/50 solution of vinegar and warm water and put into a spray bottle.Mist on cabinets, let sit for a minute or two and then wipe clean with a soft cloth. Add a few drops of mild liquid dishwashing detergent to the vinegar and water solution to clean extremely grimy cabinets.
