Hi Patricia. You will need to figure the length x width for each area, the placement and radius each sprinkler head covers, and the length between sprinkler heads for the hose runs. Also add in for the hose runs from your water source. 😊
A lot of companies will go out and give you a free estimate. Even if you want to do the work yourself, you could have a professional go out and do the measurements for you.

I designed the system for my back yard, tied it in from the front yard, then measured the runs and went to a plumbing supply to buy the parts.
