How do I fix grout on a tile table top?

Our dining room table is all tile with a wooden border. It's getting up there in years and though the tile is in near perfect condition the grout or what more accurately feels like rubber or silicone "grout" in between all the tiles is looking worn out and stained and starting to miss chunks in places. I've tried searching for ways to fix it with no luck. I need advice.....

If you can dig it out. You can regrout, then seal it. I've used a nut pick or small screw driver to get it started, be careful with the tile.
I agree with Kelli, if you can get it out, you can easily replace it. As Kelli noted, be careful not to chip or break the tile. Good luck, Anita, you can get the table top back to looking like new!
Sounds like you have a flexible grout now that might be able to be removed fairly easily. You can reapply with a similar grout using the product in a caulking gun. Apply in between the tiles and then use a damp paper towel to remove the excess before it dries.
You can chisel out the grout and replace tiles and grout. Make sure to seal.
If you can pull it all out do so. If not use a Dremel drill to remove it. When clear and ready to do again, use coloured grout maybe for a change or replace with the white waterproof grout.
Remove the old grout and replace it with a fresh new grout.
