If you are looking for a fun craft for St. Patrick's Day, this is it... I made clothespin people ornaments for Christmas and they were such a huge hit that I decided to try my hand at leprechauns. I love how cute they turned out. You get to decide how to use them. You can turn them into ornaments, use them as cute little home décor pieces or use them to set a leprechaun trap.

Paint the body of your clothespin. I used a few different greens for and black for this project.

Use your hot glue gun to add a piece of yarn for the beard.

Cut out accessories with felt and attach with hot glue gun.

Add a couple eyes and your leprechaun is ready! This can be a fun group craft for kids, just be sure to use a low heat hot glue gun or craft glue.

These clothespins can be added to flower vases, sit by a picture frame or hung on a St. Patrick's Day tree - if that's such a thing...

It would also be cute to glue these to a wooden dowel as an accessory for a bouquet of flowers.

You can even add pins to the back and have a cute accessory to wear so you don't get pinched!
