Do you have a bench and want to add concrete or do you want to build a concrete bench from scratch? You need to have a form in either case to pour the concrete into. Melamine works well to keep concrete from sticking. You may want rebar or wire mess in the middle.
I'm renovating the kitchen, by giving it a facelift. Not replace cupboards. I decided to give the bench tops a concrete finish. Don't think I'd go to extreme. I do thank you for the advise and will keep it handy. Thank you Ken
