Acetone will remove it. Ceramic right? Dont use on vinyl.

Is it water-base latex paint? I would scrub it with a floor cleaner and water. If it is oil-base paint, you will need to use a solvent such as turpentine or brush cleaner. I would test a small area first to see how it affects your flooring.

Simple and easy. WD-40 to the rescue! WD-40 is amazing for all the many things it can do. Just make sure you wipe it totally off afterward.

What is the tile made of, vinyl, porcelain, or Pergo type mat'l? WD40 will mot harm those surfaces so I would start there. Spray it, scrub it with green Scotch Brite pad, wipe it, wash it. I wouldn't use any paint thinner or nail polish remover if it is a vinyl floor. You may need to put a little more elbow grease behind it if you have grouted joints.

How am I going to do this?

  • Try some nail polish remover first. If that doesn't work, try a little Citristrip.

Citri strip is non toxic paint remover,
