What about using a solar light. They have spotlight styles that work great.

I've given that some thought. I have concerns as there is a big huge tree there in the space and Im not sure if a solar light would get enough sun. Humm I would like to "back-light" a piece of wood somehow. I think that would be cool & visible.

      Thank you!

There are several websites from where you can order a lighted house number sign or you could ask professionals to help you with this :D My husband also prefers lighted house signs. He's a little bit fancier, I could say, haha. I love his style. Anyway! He bought from the internet such a pretty lighted metallic sign. Someone told us not to invest in these signs because they'll fall, but we had no problems so far, everything is great. Also carving in stone could be an option, but again, why do it yourself when there are paid people to do this? Lol. Some friends of ours tried to do it themselves and of course when they saw our house sign they immediately wanted one too. They're more beautiful, that's the truth. Not to mention that it takes time to do one yourself.

Hi! I have seen lights like the attached link with numbers mounted on them. Good luck!
