Use a product such as Cerama Bryte or Weiman's glass stove top cleaner.
Use window cleaner such as windex. It works wonders on black stoves
I think if you applied RainX according o directions it would work great--it sheets water from windshield--think it would do wonders and act as a protective barrier for your stove
