Hi, I have a very nice wind chime where all but one long metal pole fell off, I want to put them back on. What would be the best item to use..?

Hi I had the same problem. I used fishing wire/string to put them back up. It's strong and lasts a long time.

Hello, I have used both black fishing line and black nylon cording found in jewelry making supply areas for mobile and chime restringing. Both are excellent substitutions. I hope this helps.

Yes I had the same problem, I did order black fishing line online. The jury is out to which option will last the longest. My woodstock chimes appear to be braided nylon cording- the replacement looked quite natural- as I only restrung a few loose chimes, not the whole chime.
