Custom wall art can be expensive, use this technique to create beautiful wall art using scrapbook paper for a fraction of the price of custom wall art.

Create scrapbook paper wall art using 12x12 paper from a craft store. This comes in so many styles and if you shop the sales you can find it as low as $.50 a sheet. You will also need 12x12 foam squares, paint, mod podge and a paintbrush.

Paint the sides of the foam to coordinate with the paper you choose.

Next, coat the foam with a thin layer of Mod Podge, and spread a layer on the back of a sheet of scrapbook paper as well. Then stick the paper to the foam and smooth out any bubbles. To help the paper lay flat, layer a few books on top until the Mod Podge dries.

Hang the wall art using command strips, these panels are really light and don't need anything heavy duty to hang up.

This set of 4 panels is in my daughter's room. She was able to pick out exactly what she wanted at the craft store then help me create this scrapbook wall art. It's inexpensive enough that when she tires of the theme, we can do it again!
