Upcycled Jars Into St. Paddy's Day Decor

Here’s a fun way to use some of those empty glass jars that you’ve been saving. Upcycle them into cute St. Patty’s day décor that can be used as vases, utensil holders, etc.

Start out by washing and drying your jars and make sure to remove any labels.

Next paint the jars whatever color you choose. I chose two different shades of green. Give them 2-3 coats of paint for each jar.

Once the upcycled St. Patty’s day jars are dry add some burlap ribbon around the center of each jar, and a strip of fabric to the middle of each painted jar. Securing both with hot glue.

Using two more fabric strips to make some fabric flowers by twisting and forming a spiral adding hot glue as I go to hold the flowers shape.

Once I got the fabric flowers made for the St. Paddy’s day jars the desired size, I then hot glued them in place. Then I added a wooden shamrock off to one side of the flowers.

Lastly, I added some twine to the top rims of the St. Paddy’s day décor and that’s it for this easy Saint Patrick’s Day project. Hop on over for my full step by step St. Patrick’s Day tutorial with photos.
