I had this problem years ago so I thought. Strawberries would grow to a nice size and then they all would disappear. I had it on a hill on the side of our home around 6' x 16'. They were so beautiful and kept disappearing again. I even placed a net on it and that was hard for the culprits to get it off. Caught them red handed. It was my 9 year old and his girl friends all eating my strawberries. Never once left the top on the ground. They put it in the neighbors trash can. After that my garden grew great!
