Hello, I'm making wooden items using Unicorn Spit and I would like to glaze them over to look 3D. I have no idea which glaze is which and does what. I'm not sure when I would put on the 3D glaze as well. I would appreciate it if you could help me get through that process.Thank YouBetsy

Just did the research. After you have finished using the Unicorn Spit and it has dried apply 3 coats of oil based gloss polyurethane. Best if sprayed, but brushing is ok. Don't use,a foam brush or roller, will add air bubbles. Let dry between coats.

Unicorn spit is water based so it will rust the tin. Glass doesn't accept paint well unless you are back painting and it doesn't get touched.

Yes, if painting on wood wash down with TSP and then sand the sheen off.

It's not called glaze it's oil based polyurethane, any name brand will work on all materials.

In thought I answered this, if I did it twice I'm sorry. Unicorn spit is water-based so it will rest your tin so not a good product for tin. As far as doing unicorn spit on glass, glass doesn't like paint very well, scratches off easily but if you paint it on the back of the glass that could work as long as it doesn't get scratched or scraped,

    scooted around.

It's not called glaze it is oil based polyurethane, gloss. Any brand will work on the three surfaces you asked about. If you want to paint on tin, use only oil based paint.
